Dedicated to the memory of Frank Cullen

This site is a tribute to Frank Cullen, who was born on November 11, 1949. He is much loved and will always be remembered. Please feel free to leave any thoughts or memories you'd like to share. Any stories are welcome, especially if they're humorous! Dad kept his sense of humour and was cracking bad jokes even during our final goodbye in Glasgow. His family and friends are spread throughout the UK and beyond so we wanted to create a space we can all come to light a candle or share a thought when we're thinking of him. We miss you, Dad ❤️

Thoughts

We had the memorial yesterday and it was lovely to meet people that known you through the different stages of your life. It was especially nice meeting the football lot. I remember you telling me during one of our Zooms that you had forgotten to change the password and had to coordinate everyone in with the password we used for our sessions. I don't think I'd fully appreciated how difficult is had been for you to get everyone unmuted, camera on and pointing at their faces. Papa the tech whiz! xx

Frank will be sadly missed not only by me but everyone who knew him. A family man through and through was never happier than with he had Ann, Kat, Amy, Mina, Sky and Hayden in his company. A huge Celtic fan and not a bad player himself. He is at peace now but never far from our thoughts.

As there's no official funeral and we're all scattered far and wide, I thought this could be a place we can visit. Even if it's just to look at photos or light a candle. I'm not sure yet what I want to say but I felt I should kick things off and hope others join in. When I was going through my phone to add photos to this page I was simultaneously crying and smiling. There's one of Dad laying back in a boat looking relaxed and happy but it was me and his granddaughter, Mina, piloting the thing. My memory has a lot more of Dad's yelps and cries of "we're gonna drown" than that photo actually shows! Thank you for dropping by here and a big thanks to everyone who has sent condolences. I hope Dad felt loved as we bombarded him with visits during his final days ❤️
